Many in the community will recognize the Corson name through hometown hockey star Shane Corson, whose family helped build the foundation of what Mom's would become: a welcoming restaurant centred around good food, consistency, and community.

When Louie and Fanny DeSantis took over, they embraced a simple philosophy: take care of people, serve quality food, and create a place guests would want to return to again and again. Over the next three decades, they became part of the heart of Mom's, building relationships with guests, maintaining the traditions people loved, and creating the warm, familiar atmosphere that made the restaurant feel like home.

Today, Mom's Restaurant continues that tradition under the care of Adair and Mike, who are committed to honouring the restaurant's history while thoughtfully building on it for the future.
